Matt’s extensive construction experience spans projects ranging from $50,000 to $300 million across residential, infrastructure, railway transit, and civil defense sectors. His expertise encompasses construction risk management, forensic investigation, procurement analysis, delay claims, and dispute resolution. He has completed over 80 construction mediations and conducted more than 35 binding arbitrations and adjudications in recent years. Notable engagements include serving as construction project manager for the Corporation of the County of Simcoe’s $273 million project and acting as claims consultant for Toronto Transit Commission’s $240 million construction project.

In parallel to his consulting practice, Matt remains actively involved in academia and policy work. As an adjunct professor since 2013, he teaches construction law at George Brown College and was invited as an expert panelist at the United Nations in Geneva in 2023.
