Biography

Askar Eskandari is a Professional Engineer with over 37 years of hands-on engineering and construction experience across diverse project sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Tabriz, Iran, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada. His extensive expertise encompasses civil engineering, construction project management, constructability review of documents, contract administration, and forensic construction and claims analysis.

Askar’s project management experience spans all types of building projects including ICI developments, infrastructure, low-rise and high-rise residential, industrial, commercial projects, and urban development. He has worked with numerous developers and contractors in Canada while maintaining extensive international experience. His proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget is supported by his expertise in scheduling, estimating, contract administration, and reviewing construction drawings for constructability and potential claims identification.

As a civil engineer, Askar possesses strong technical skills in structural design, testing, and inspection of structures. His forensic construction and claims expertise enables him to establish cause-and-effect relationships in construction failures and dispute analysis. This combination of engineering knowledge and practical construction management experience makes him particularly valuable for complex projects requiring both technical precision and strategic oversight.

Askar has been collaborating with MCCI and Matt Mortazavi since the early 2000s, bringing decades of proven project delivery experience.
